Prescriptions

For your repeat medication by email or via the NHS APP.  We will not take orders at Surgery over the phone except for those unable to request by app or email.

• You can request your prescription by email. Please include your name, address, date a birth and a list of the medication and strength you require. The email addresses to order prescriptions are:
  • pontycymmer.prescriptions@wales.nhs.uk 
  • bettws.dispensary@wales.nhs.uk 
  • llangeinor.dispensary@wales.nhs.uk 

• Handing in (or posting) your repeat prescription slip to the surgery you would like to collect your prescription from. If you have lost your repeat prescription slip, please write clearly the names of the tablets you require on a piece of paper. Please include the strength of the medication, and your name, address and Date of birth.

• Via the NHS APP 

• We require at least 72 hours notice for repeat prescriptions.

• Prescriptions ordered from Pontycymmer, will be sent directly to the local pharmacy. If you have not already nominated a pharmacy, please contact us to do so.

• Prescriptions ordered from Bettws or Llangeinor will be dispensed in our dispensaries, and can be collected directly.

• If you would like us to post your prescription to you, please send a stamped addressed envelope.
